3iS is host to the international filmmaking competition, 48Hours Challenge, which involves teams of students from CILECT member schools (Centre International de Liaison des Ecoles de Cinéma et de Télévision), a rich cross-cultural partnership within the international art world representing over 180 institutions from over 60 countries.

Students around the globe compete and share their passion for filmmaking by creating a short one to two-minute film based on a theme that remains secret until the 48 hours of shooting begin. 

These intense conditions test the students’ technical and creative skills in a fun competitive environment, whilst also cultivating the emergence of exceptional talent in the film and audiovisual world.
