Program

Music creation, composition & production

At the heart of the program lies one central question: how do you turn a creative intention into distinctive, fully realized music?

You will develop your ability to compose, arrange, produce and finalize original work while progressively refining your own artistic language.

You will explore areas including:

  • composition, songwriting and arrangement;
  • computer-based music production, synthesis, sampling and beatmaking;
  • sound design and audio creation;
  • recording and production of vocals and instruments;
  • editing, processing, effects and spatial audio;
  • mixing and introduction to mastering;
  • development of a distinctive sonic identity.

Artistic Direction & Project development

A music project is more than a collection of tracks. It is built around a vision, an identity and a clear way of communicating both.

You will learn how to define an artistic direction, build a coherent creative world and positioning, articulate your project and develop the materials needed to present it professionally.

You will also work on pitching, communication, networking and opportunity development: who to approach, how to present your work and how to create the conditions for collaboration.

Music Business & Professional development

Understanding the music industry is essential if you want to develop a project beyond the studio.

You will explore the roles of labels, publishers, producers, managers, distributors and platforms, alongside music publishing, copyright, related rights, business models, release strategies, distribution and artist development.

You will learn how to identify the most relevant opportunities for your project and communicate effectively with the professionals who can help develop, distribute, promote and grow your work.

Sound creation & New technologies

Emerging technologies are explored as creative tools rather than ends in themselves.

You will work with areas including generative artificial intelligence, digital instruments and environments, audio generation and transformation, automation, immersive production and emerging formats for creation and distribution.

The aim is to understand how to select and integrate the right technologies in support of a clear artistic vision.

Final Project – Create, produce and develop a music project

The final project is the culmination of the program and the centerpiece of your professional portfolio.

You will design and produce a personal music project that reflects your artistic identity and brings together the creative, technical and professional skills developed throughout the year.

Starting from an artistic intention, you will define a direction, compose and produce several original works, manage the different stages of production and finalize a coherent body of tracks or sound-based content.

By the end of the year, you will have created both a coherent body of original work and the professional materials needed to present and develop it: artistic positioning, pitch, release or distribution strategy, presentation materials, target audiences, potential partners and professional opportunities.

Depending on the nature of your project, the final outcome may take the form of an EP, a collection of original productions, a performance, a live set, a hybrid project or a creation combining music, image and new technologies.

You will present and defend your project before a jury of professionals from the music and creative industries.
