At 3iS, hands-on learning is at the heart of the 2-year Master in Recording & Music Production (MRMP) program.
As a future graduate, you will gain the skills to design, promote, and deliver albums, radiophonic projects, studio productions, and festival events, while managing a team of sound professionals.
Year 1 – Foundations and Collaboration
In your first year, you will participate in collaborative team projects while following specialized modules in technical skills and artistic culture. These experiences will build a solid foundation in both the creative and technical aspects of sound.
Year 2 – Project Mastery and Professional Practice
During your second year, you will take full ownership of projects, managing both your personal productions and teams composed of students from other disciplines. You will produce a complete artistic and technical file for each project, preparing you for professional challenges in the audio industry.
Personalized mentorship
Each student benefits from one-to-one guidance with an industry professional—whether a sound engineer, sound designer, or composer. This personalized mentoring ensures that your individual project develops to its fullest potential, reinforcing your growth throughout the program.
Exclusive learning environment
To maximize learning and provide focused support, the MRMP class is limited to 25 students, fostering close collaboration, individualized feedback, and a truly immersive experience.
The MRMP program is at the heart of 3iS for one main reason: learning by project. Over the course of the two years, you will develop and produce your own projects in close collaboration with industry professionals, while also working alongside students from other English-speaking 3iS programs.
Here’s what your hands-on experience will include:
Each project is designed to strengthen your technical expertise, artistic sensitivity, and collaborative skills, preparing you for a successful career in the global music and audio industry.
Each semester, students who successfully complete the program earn 30 ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System), totaling 180 credits over the three years.
Upon graduation, students receive a school diploma recognized by industry professionals, backed by the prestige of 3iS and the strong international reputation of France in the creative and audiovisual sectors.
