Program

At 3iS, hands-on learning is at the heart of our Master in Filmmaking program. Over the two years, you will develop the practical skills, creative vision, and professional mindset required to excel in the global film industry.

Year 1 – Foundations in filmmaking

From day one, you will produce your first audiovisual project under the guidance of your course director or tutor. You will also manage and collaborate with a team composed of students from other disciplines, giving you a true sense of professional teamwork.

Year 2 – Advanced practice and professional projects

In your second year, you will push your creativity further. You will be tasked with writing and shooting a short fiction film under professional conditions, as well as designing a documentary complete with a full production file and a 5-minute teaser. These projects are designed to challenge your skills and prepare you for real-world filmmaking.

Personalized mentorship

Each student benefits from one-on-one guidance with an industry professional in the field of their choice—directing, screenwriting, cinematography, or first assistant work. This mentorship ensures that your personal project develops at a professional level and becomes a standout piece in your portfolio.

To maximize learning and provide tailored support, the Master in Filmmaking class is limited to just 25 students. This ensures close interaction with instructors and personalized guidance throughout the program.
