How’s that?
At 3iS, we place a huge emphasis on hands-on-learning all the way through the 2 years of the MFM program.
Tell me more about it!
During your first year at 3iS, you will be able to produce your very first AV project according to your course director or tutor. Nonetheless, you will manage a team made up of students from all other sectors.
In the second year, you will experience the art of filmmaking by means of the requirements awaiting you! You will have to write and shoot a short fiction film in professional conditions, and you will be asked to design a documentary for which you write a full production file together with a 5-minute teaser!
Is that all?
In addition, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of a personalized, one-to-one instruction from a tutor working in the field you are looking up to! This opportunity covers a range of fields: directing scriptwriting, camera operating or 1st assistant. Such personalized monitoring for a personal project each year will enable you to develop your professional project, which will have an impact on your overall progress.
One last thing to add?
In order to facilitate and consolidate learning, the Master in Filmmaking class has a restricted intake of 25 students.

The MFM program lies at the heart of 3iS, mainly for its approach: “learning by the project”. In other words, throughout the 2 years, you will produce your projects independently within a class group, together with the support of other English-speaking 3iS programs.
