3iS students can apply for Erasmus+ grants not only to study abroad at our partnership universities but also to take on an internship in another European country.

Additional grants are also available for students with disabilities.

If you plan to undertake a study or placement mobility in Europe, please contact our International Department that will guide you through the steps required to apply for Erasmus+ funds.

Students of all nationality are eligible for this financial support. The amount of the Erasmus+ grant depends on the cost of living in the student’s host country and the length of their stay.

HOW CAN I BENEFIT FROM THE ERASMUS+ INTERNSHIP GRANT?

To submit your application, please follow the steps below:

  1. Find a company where your internship will take place abroad.
  2. Contact the Corporate Department in order to Sign an Agreement of Internship with the host organisation.
  3. Contact the International Department in order to apply for the Erasmus+ funding.
You will be required to complete a number of documents in order to receive your grant payments: the Grant Application Form, the Learning Agreement for Traineeships, a motivation letter, and the Erasmus Student Charter, which outlines your rights and responsibilities.
  4. As soon as your internship starts, send a certificate of arrival and return the Learning Agreement to 3iS. Payment of your first grant amount usually follows this important step.
  5. At the end of your internship, you will have to prepare your internship report and drop this file into the Erasmus+ web platform in order to receive the remaining payment.
