The Rave The Planet Parade is set to celebrate its 5th edition on August 15, 2026, in Berlin. For this occasion, and as last year, our school 3iS is organizing a competition and offering five of you the opportunity to perform a DJ set on the 3iS float.
Imagine yourself behind the decks, surrounded by thousands of people at the heart of one of the world’s largest electronic music gatherings.
Who can participate?
The competition is free and open to:
- 1 current 3iS student (from any campus: Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon, Nantes, or Avignon)
- 1 external applicant (not enrolled at 3iS France, aged 25 or under)
- 2 students from The Bootcamp Goa
- 1 spot reserved as part of Analog Assembly (summer camp 2026 in Bordeaux focused on computer-free music production and performance)
Requirements:
- Hold valid identification to stay in Berlin on August 15, 2026
- Be at least 16 years old
What do you need to submit to enter the competition?
- A 20-minute DJ set (private SoundCloud link)
- An original track based on the theme “Imagine Love,” including a mandatory vocal
- A cover letter (required)
- A press kit
- (Optional) A 20-minute live performance video (YouTube only)

If you are selected, you will be required to take part in an interview and share your project file.
Accepted music genres
- Techno
- Drum & Bass
- Electro
- Classic House
Very important
Your track must be 100% original, with no unauthorized samples or copyrighted material.
A vocal is mandatory in the track — it is central to the “Imagine Love” theme.
Prohibited content includes anything racist, violent, religious, or promoting drug use.

What you can win
Five artists will each perform a 20-minute set on the 3iS float.
- Equipment will be provided on site
- Travel and accommodation costs are not covered
A jury will select the winners based on originality, technical skills, and how well their style matches the spirit of the event.
Legal information
By participating, you agree that your image and music may be used for the promotion of the event and of 3iS Education. Winners will be required to wear 3iS-branded clothing (provided).
