Plan before you write

Take time to reflect on your goals, your motivations, and what draws you to 3iS. A well-structured statement tells a clear story and leaves a strong impression.

Be yourself

Your personal statement is your opportunity to shine. Explore 3iS, its values, its creative environment, and your chosen programme—and explain why it feels like the right place for you. Authenticity makes all the difference.

Keep it clear and engaging

Polish your language

Careful proofreading shows commitment and professionalism. Clear, accurate language strengthens your message and enhances your application.

Present it professionally

A well-formatted, easy-to-read statement reflects your attention to detail. Don’t hesitate to ask someone you trust to review it before submitting.

Express your creative identity

Your portfolio should reflect who you are as an artist or creator. Show us what makes your work unique.

Tell the story behind your projects
