This 3-week immersive Summer School in Paris combines hands-on training, professional studios and real production conditions. Students live and study on the 3iS Paris campus (housing included), enjoying a fully immersive academic and cultural experience in one of Europe’s leading creative cities.
Participants choose one of four specialized tracks: Filmmaking Summer School, Sound Design Summer School, Acting for Camera Summer School, or Animation & Video Game Summer School. All programs share a common foundation in audiovisual production and culminate in a collaborative interdisciplinary film, reflecting real industry workflows.

The 3iS Filmmaking Summer School in Paris is a premium English-taught summer program designed for international students who want to discover filmmaking, build a strong foundation and create their first cinematic project in the world capital of cinema.
Over three intensive weeks, you will learn how to shoot, light, direct and edit, working in professional studios and real production conditions — while experiencing Paris as a filmmaker.
A complete introduction to filmmaking
You will learn the essential skills required to understand and practice filmmaking:
Your individual project – A fiction scene
Each participant develops and directs a short fiction scene, prepared and shot during the workshops.
Objective: leave Paris with your first concrete film project, ready to be included in your portfolio.
The 3iS Collaborative Film (3-5 minutes)
A signature experience of the 3iS Summer Schools.
You will collaborate with students from:
Filmmaking × Sound Design × Acting × Animation & Video Game
Together, you will produce a collective interdisciplinary film, working in real professional conditions.
