When? From Saturday, July 5th to Tuesday, July 15th, 2025

Where? In Lyon, the birthplace of cinema!

Who’s it for? Anyone aged 18 and over who’s passionate about cinema or interested in pursuing studies on it.

Price: €3,000

What will I learn? You’ll get hands-on experience with everything from scriptwriting to shooting and editing your own short film. It’s the perfect intro to the world of filmmaking!

What’s included?

5 days of cinema workshops at our Bron campus, where you’ll dive into the art of filmmaking.
A private studio in Lyon for your entire stay (10 nights, 11 days).
A 7-day public transport pass.
Guided tours in English of Lyon’s cinema museums and its vibrant city center, plus a special gastronomic tour!
A weekend to explore Lyon and its surroundings at your own pace.

WORKSHOP PROGRAM

Monday: Introduction to filmmaking and the basics of scriptwriting.

Tuesday: Let’s get technical! We’ll dive into the equipment (cameras, microphones, lights, etc.) and explore the roles of key crew members like the director, cinematographer, gaffer, and more.

Wednesday: Lights, camera, action! It’s time to shoot your short film, created by you and your fellow participants.

Thursday: Time to edit! Learn the fundamentals of film editing and get hands-on with editing software.

Friday: Finalize your edit and screen your short film in our amphitheater!
